POSSIBLE FAULT

HOW TO RESOLVE 

Blurry print

  • Platten set to incorrect height

  • Check the platten height is set to A. Make sure that the platten dial is in the correct position

Colours do not look vivid enough OR streaky lines in the print 

  • Nozzle check

  • Head clean  

  • Print head clean

  • Low on ink  

  • Perform a nozzle check

  • Perform a super clean

  • Clean print head

  • Check ink levels

Spots or streaks of ink in design

  • Nozzle check 

  • Head clean

  • Print head clean

  • Perform a nozzle check

  • Perform a super clean

  • Clean print head

Shiny design after heat press 

  • Print is burnt 

  • Check temperature on heat press is set to 180 degrees; it may be too high.


CAUTION! DO NOT TOUCH WHILE HOT


Random patches of ink appearing on garment after heat pressing

  • Ink residue is collecting on the top of the heat press

  • Check the heat plates are not transferring excess ink. If so, order replacement heat press covers from us.
    Ensure to always use a sheet of baking paper on top of the print prior to heat sealing.  

  • Order new heat press covers from us if they become soiled or damaged
